Happy Birthday to LPPS - 20 Years and still going strong!

This year, we celebrate 20 years since our school opened! How time flies...

The whole school celebrated by having a lovely tea party in the courtyard.
Mrs. Richards-Turner brought in her wonderful bunting that she'd hand-sewn - yards and yards of it - enough to go around the whole courtyard, bringing a fantastically festive atmosphere.

The children sat with all their friends and teachers and enjoyed either a special packed lunch provided by their lovely parents, or a special lunch bag (filled with 20 items) provided by the lovely Gill, Janice and Michelle in the kitchen.

The children also dressed in '20'-themed outfits, brought a picnic 'friend' from home to join in the fun and were treated to an ice-cream each by the school!

Children also brought in 20 pence coins to try to spell out '20 LPPS' on the playground throughout the morning; the money raised will go towards improving the school playgrounds for the children.
