Year 2 had a fantastic time for our Viking Day on Tuesday. We really enjoyed being visited by Bjorn the Viking. He taught us lots of new things, we learnt about: different Viking jobs, Viking weapons and clothing, Viking warfare techniques and how the Viking era ended. We also chose our own Viking name, job and wrote our name in Runes (the Viking alphabet). We got to handle lots of interesting Viking artefacts too!
