PALS EASTER HUNT

The Egg Hunt ‘Rocked’
What a wonderful way to end the Spring term! We certainly all ‘rocked’ at the Easter Hunt on Saturday! Rain started the day but had thankfully cleared by the afternoon, meaning the children could run off steam finding the clues! The painted rocks went down a treat and, with it being a little cooler outside, it was great to see so many in the hall grabbing a hot drink and some Easter cakes!

With your help and support, we raised £300! We are always grateful of your cake donations and for the wonderful helpers too. A number of Year 6 children were keen to help this year too; many thanks to Hannah, Ted, Drew, Euan, Daan, Lily, Arlo and Daniel. You were great role models to the younger children and really embedded the LPPS values!

Also, a big thank you to our parent helpers on the day: Claire Smout, Sam Drew, Evie Higgins, Suzanne Kenneally, Yvonne Voyce, Louise Sharrad, Tash Didcot and Emma Wilson.

And, Katie Burnett and Emily Blackwell, thank you for organising a ‘cracking’ event!

What our parents had to say...

We had fun hunting for all the Easter rocks - there were some tricky clues!Claire

We had a great afternoon at the school Easter egg hunt.... finding the rocks this year was a great idea as it’s such a big craze at the moment. The whole afternoon was organised so well and a great selection of yummy cakes after... can’t wait for next year 😊Callie

“A great time had by all at the Easter Hunt. Younger one did the easier hunt whilst the older one did the harder one. The hunt was well thought out. Whoever came up with the idea of "Easter Rocks" is a genius!!” Jackie
