Year 5 Greek Pots

 Year 5 explored the different decorative styles of ancient Greek pots, what they show and which styles were used in which centuries. We also looked at the different styles and shapes that were used for different jobs - so pots used for holding water are very different to those for oil or grains. 

We then practiced the technique of making coils to help form our own Greek inspired pots, and used slip to attached decorations and handles. We then further decorated our pots with paint.
