Forest School in FS
What a lovely day after a stormy night!
Spiders had a great time at Forest School today, noticing what was in the area. They looked at trees and the different types of bark, and the buds coming; the protection that we put around some of the young trees; bark that had peeled off and that might be used by animals. The children had magnifying glasses and binoculars to look around. Some used the charcoal to paint their faces again!

Letters to Santa
Class 2 and 3 went off this afternoon to post their letters to Santa. It was a bit of a windy walk but all the letters made it safely into the letter box! Class 1 will be posting theirs on Friday and Year 1 next week.

Phonics Party - Foundation Stage
All the children in class 2 and 3 had a lovely time at the phonics party. They showed their parents how we learn to read and write at school. We hope you all had a lovely time, but if you were unable to make it, the presentation can be found on our website. I'm afraid all the children finished the cakes!!
A big thank you to Rosie's Nanny who came in and made 200 cakes with some of the children.
