Money Matters: Day 1
Today, Year 6 children started their 'Young Enterprise' week by learning about what a business is and about the different departments that a business may have. The children worked in a team to designate themselves in various managerial roles. The children played: 'The Bead Game' where they were given a loan, had to make and sell a product with the aim of making a profit. A great first day for this enterprising week!

Diwali Day
Year 6 celebrated Diwali Day and enhanced their understanding of this religious ceremony. The children made Diva lamps and Diva sweets. They then coloured some Rangoli patterns, all whilst enjoying the fragrance from the incense.

Egyptian Day
Last week, Year 4 received visitors from Wantage Museum who lead very engaging and enlightening sessions about Ancient Egyptians. Children had the opportunity to
re-enact the Weighing of the Heart ceremony where the Gods decided if you were allowed to enter the underworld - something which Ancient Egyptians also practised
when someone died. They also explored ancient artefacts, and became priests turning each other into Mummies.
