LPPS V Goring

After school on Wednesday, Ladygrove Girls' football team had a resounding win over Goring Primary School. From the outset, our footballers showed superior skills as they passed accurately, had attempt, after attempt, on goal and our defence was unbreakable. Well done to Freya who was awarded 'girl of the match' for her powerful shots on target (one goal short of a double hat-trick) and for supporting her team mates by passing accurately to them. Final score 12 - 0 to Ladygrove. Well done girls for this incredible win and for acting modestly with the increasing goal difference. Thanks you to Mark Coles for acting as referee. Class 5 Football

We really enjoyed the football and we all tried our best! We worked really hard controlling a football.

We learnt how to:
-Throw a football really far
-Play football
-Kick footballs as far as we could
-Kick the football with both our left and right feet
-Jump as high as we could with a football between our legs
