The children were busy digging in the new garden in the Foundation Stage this afternoon when they came across what they thought was treasure! It was metal and shiny! They dug a little more and found that the metal thing was actually a metal box. They were very excited to see what was inside. Imagine their surprise when they opened the box to find a letter! A letter from a mole!! The teachers were just as astonished! The mole asked the children if they would like to write back to him, so that's what they are going to do.
