Ladygrove Park take the Manor Tournament by storm!

Ladygrove Park came close to a double victory at the Manor School Football and Netball on Saturday.

The netball A team won through to the final but then lost to All Saints in a match that went to extra time before there was a result. There were a few tears but the team did really well and should feel proud of their achievement.

The football A also reached the finals following a nerve-racking semi final against arch-rivals Cholsey which went to penalties. Their final, against Hagbourne, like the netballers, went to extra time. But Matthew scored the winning goal - a "net buster" as the team described it - with two minutes of extra time left - meaning Ladygrove retain the trophy they won last year!

Well done to ALL the players - in the B teams and the A teams. They were all a credit to themselves and to the school. Thank you also to Mrs Manthorpe for organising the netball and to all the parents who came and supported.
