The sporting prowess of Ladygrove Park marches on!
Football and High Five teams have had a successful year and this was followed up last week at the Didcot Cricket Club Kwik Cricket tournament.
We fielded two teams for the competition and both nearly got through to the finals. However, the B Team lost their first match against Harwell and despite victories against Manor and South Moreton, they were knocked out.
The A team had victories against Stephen Freeman, Blewbury and Hagbourne in the group stages.
There was a tense final with Manor getting 70 runs in their innings. But a stunning 84 runs gave Ladygrove the cup.
Well done to both teams and thanks to the parents who came to support (and Les Addison who helped us train!)
