How the mighty ...

High 5 vs Stephen Freeman

The A Team's Match
Following the rescheduling of the match due to the snow, the A team travelled to Stephen Freeman to play their match. During the first quarter, it quickly became evident that we had more than met our match!!! Starting the second quarter four goals to nil down, the team remained cheerful and fought galliantly. Magnificent performances from JT and great marking from Beattie helped to dampen down Stephen Freeman's goal scoring bonanza, but didn't stop it altogether. Despite losing ten or twelve nil (a few discrepancies in the scoring!!) the team remained positive, and ready to face Stephen Freeman's B team soon. Well played A team.

The B Team's Match
This report is from Mrs Manthorpe's assistant (Holly), as Mrs Manthorpe was refereeing for the A team's match....

During the first quarter, Stephen Freeman scored very early on. But with our brilliant marking we soon regained possession and started scoring some goals. Gemma and Matthew played well together in both shooting and defending positions, lots of encouragement from within the team led to good team spirit. Dan Cross was noted for his excellent skills in indicating where the ball was needed. Most members of the team scored at least once, with a final scoreline of 15-1. Well done B team.
