This year the "normally quiet!!!" (ha ha) Year 6 chilren were visited by South Oxfordshire Council Environmental Health. They took part in a series of workshops designed to educate them about noise. As well as learning about some of the ways in which they could protect their hearing, they were informed about anti-social noise levels...no excuses now for having their music on too loud!!
Finally they competed to see who had the loudest voice in year 6 by screaming as loud as they could into a mic. The winner was Catherine (normally so quiet) with 119.8 decibels. She won an MP4 player.
