This term in assemblies we have been focussing on the theme of how to 'Make a Positive Contribution'. We started off by discussing how to make a positive contribution at home, then in the classroom and last week we talked about around school. One thing we noticed was that because of the bad weather we've been having our cloakrooms were suffering and becoming terribly messy so we set the children a 'Cloakroom Challenge'! Each week, the year group with the neatest, tidiest cloakroom area would be rewarded with extra play with the emphasis on a joint effort, consideration for each others' things and definitely no sabotage! As you can see from the photos, the children are more than meeting the challenge so far, garnering top marks for their pristine areas during Mr Burrows' and Mrs Li-Koo's spot checks! Well done everyone and keep it up!
