New beginnings for High 5

18 eager year six children signed up for high 5 club this year, and came along to our second practice of the year. Having warmed up, Connor led the rest of the club members in some stretches. Next, we got down to business with passing and catching work. Having learnt where each player stands and where they were allowed to move up to, we played several games. Although we didn't use too many rules, Mrs Manthorpe was impressed that most people picked up the general idea of the game and that all the children who came last summer had remembered the rules. We look forward to honing our skills in weekly practice and to playing games with other schools in due course.
