Year 5 Go Greek!

Year 5 stepped back in time yesterday to enjoy a fun-filled day of activities based on Ancient Greece. They were mesmerised as our Ancient Greek visitor brought myths and legends to life, telling of how everyday life was over two thousand years ago.

The children and teaching staff got into the spirit by dressing up in chitons or as Ancient Greek soldiers.

We also got very creative, designing and making Greek style pots and urns.

Mrs Omar even made some traditional Ancient Greek honey cakes which were delcious.

We look forward to sharing all our work with parents and visitors at our Open Classrooms on Friday 8th October.
