Snow news is good news?

We are aware that, with the continuing cold weather, parents will have queries regarding school closure if the snow should worsen.

Our aim is to keep the school open, even in adverse weather conditions, to avoid disruption to our children's education.

When extreme weather is forecast then we will make a risk assessment, taking into account advice from the Met Office, advice from the County Council, information from staff and governors local to the school, road conditions from the radio and the likelihood of being able to staff the school effectively.

If we should decide to close the school then information will be provided here on the school blog, on the main radio stations (Radio Oxford, Heart and Jack FM) and on the County Council website http://www.oxfordshire.gov.uk/schoolclosures

In the meantime, the children are enjoying the little snow we do have!
