High 5 friendly matches with Stephen Freeman

In preparation for further league matches, two simultaneous matches were organised against Stephen Freeman School. The blue team, captained by Rosie, played magnificently – beating their younger, less-experienced opponents by a convincing margin of 15 – 0. Seven of the goals were claimed by Sam, a further three by Connor. The umpire commented on their great team-work. Well done!

The yellow team had a tougher game against the A team from Stephen Freeman. Emily and both Jacks scored goals. Gracie did a great job in defence on her first game and was encouraged by her team mates. The final score was agreed as 6-2. Good job!

As always, thank you to parent for helping transport the children, to Mr G for helping with the rotation and to all the parents for cheering us on – especially in the rain.
