Due to the success last week of the girls' football team, some of the more experienced players were unable to play – as they had their final on the same day as this match. We set off with Gracie – who did a fantastic job despite only having joined in January, Hollie – who isn't in high 5 club but was prepared to help us out, and Lucy from year 5 – who hasn't ever played high 5. How glad we were that we took them! Gracie and Hollie supported their team-mates brilliantly. Lucy – well, let's just say we're hoping that she wants to do high 5 next year! She looked like a pro – in all the right places at the right times and even scored a goal. As always, Ebonie was on the thick of the play – great marking and a great goal. Jack O was great in defence. Jack S continued his superb run – two goals and real skill at reading the game. Top goal-scorer today was Sam with 5 – a great partnership and fabulous communication between him and Jack. Final score 9 – 2 to Ladygrove.
