Science Week Activities

Over the last 2 weeks we have been taking part in the Didcot Schools' Science Festival. There have been a variety of different activities going on.
KS1 and FS went to All Saints school to watch a chemistry bubble show which was fantastic. They learnt about different gases and the effect on bubbles. The kids were wowed by what they saw!
This week we had a show here at Ladygrove which was all about Forces. Children in year 3 and 4 enjoyed learning about all the different types of forces and Newtons law.
Some children in year 5 and 6 also went to DGS and St Birinus to take part in some science activities.

By far the most enjoyable experience was KNEX which was used all around the school. The children amazed us with their ability to construct rockets, wheels, bridges, frisbees amongst other things!
