Such was the meticulous PALS planning for the summer fete, that they even ensured that the sun shone for the afternoon, ensuring excellent attendance and a very successful afternoon. After being opened by a posse of storm-troopers, children and adults enjoyed the activities on offer, including the slippery pole, hook a duck, Pete's digger, plate smashing plus the usual raffles and tombolas, cake stall and barbecue.
The fete finale was of course "Gunge the Teacher" - lucky Mrs Crewe earned the right to get a truly gooey gunging.
Many thanks to everyone who came along to support the event, thanks to Sue and the
Didcot Diamonds for entertaining us and a huge thank you to PALS for all their hard work before and during the day.
