Divali Day celebrations

We all celebrated Divali today with year groups signing up for a slot to visit the hall to take part in lots of activities. These included: listening to the Divali story and then making a character puppet; making garlands; designing diva lamps; cooking samosas and tasting food; painting mendhi patterns on hands and designing individual and contributing to large rangoli patterns.
The preparations began in FS yesterday with the children helping to colour the rice for the large rangoli patterns. We had an amazing group of parents helping and we wouldn't have had such a successful day without them. Thank you very much!
