I was in the foundation stage this afternoon where year 5 reading "Buddies" were reading with the younger children.
They were all having a great time.

Reading
Reading is a priority for the government and also for the school. Whilst our approach is that younger children should have daily phonics (sounds) teaching, we also believe that children need to enjoy reading. Enjoyment is a motivation to get children to read.
I was in the foundation stage this afternoon where year 5 reading "Buddies" were reading with the younger children.
They were all having a great time.
