Following an interesting morning learning about sport in India, Kenya and Argentina, our squad were lead in tag rugby, football, cricket and athletics by many former pupils at the Triangle sportsground.
All the children performed to their best ability and were a credit to themselves - this was underlined by their second placement in the fair play award. Some magnificent tries were scored in tag rugby, and some great goals in football - both teams did very well. The cricketers came second in their competition. The athletes, however, performed outstandingly in their running, jumping and throwing and achieved gold medals for their hard work.
Overall Ladygrove was placed second in the competition - a superb result. Well done to all the children and thanks to the parents who came along and supported them.
