VE Day Party

Year 3 had their VE Day Party this afternoon at the end of their World War II topic. Yesterday they made cup cakes and Victoria sponges. This morning they decorated the cakes with union jacks made out of blueberries and strawberries. They also made spam, corned beef and jam sandwiches and real lemonade.
Lots of mums and dads came to the party. "It was crowded but great fun," said Kate. Ruby liked the party because all the other classes were inside working!
