The children spent the morning with their host families packing bags and saying goodbyes (some quite teary) before the children gathered for a buffet lunch provided by the Twinning Association.
Then it was off by coach to Lyon airport and the flight back to Gatwick where parents met their children.
A big well done to all of the children for being so "courageux"in taking part in the first EVER international trip in the history of Ladygrove Park. It wasn't always easy for the children but we are certain that they have learnt a lot about France and about themselves.
Our thanks to everyone in Meylan for their welcome and their hospitality, and thank you also to the members of the Didcot Twinning Association for their support throughout the trip.
