Farewell Mr. B...

We said 'Goodbye' and 'Good Luck' to Mr. Burrows today in a special leaving assembly.

The children had practised hard and sang their two farewell songs for Mr. Burrows beautifully:

'It's All About You' and 'Thank You Mr. B'.

Every year group had prepared a special presentation:

FS - "We love you Mr. Burrows because..."

Y1 - a MR. BURROWS acrostic chant

Y2 - Mr. Burrows poems

Y3 - a Mr. Burrow rap

Y4 - memories of Hillend

Y5 - a flashmob style sing&sign of DoReMi

Y6 - poems in the style of Michael Rosen

We asked FS, Y6 and Y3 children to present Mr. Burrows with gifts from the school including: a photobook of the children's memories and messages; framed aerial photos of the school with some children spelling out 'TEAM'; a boxed presentation copy of the whole school photo as well as an adult-sized Ladygrove t-shirt (which he asked the leaving Year 6 children to sign!).
