Design and Technology Day in Year 6

As part of their work on the Arabian Nights tales, children in Year 6 have been constructing puppet theatres using their DT skills.

With the expertise and advice of our DT gurus, Mrs Manthorpe and Mr Poynter, children worked in small groups to put together theatres using dowling, MDF, saws and glue guns. They painted backdrops and created puppets ready to tell their tales to younger children in the school later this week.  

Everyone worked very co-operatively and safely.  Well done!
