It was National Poetry Day on Thursday, the children had a great time reading, writing and reciting poetry linked to the theme of Light and Dark. The day ended with superb performances from each class, including the very confident Reception classes! The winners of the ‘Light’ Poem competition (chosen by the school council) were Noah Blair (Class 5) and Zak Brightman (Class 10) and everyone who entered received a Purple Star. Well done everyone!
