It was fabulous to hear the presenters of Stargazing Live (including Chris Hadfield - an American Astronaut who has been to the International Space Station 3 times before) talk us through the launch including how all the different groups of rocket boosters watched.
We will remember this forever this is a moment to be remembered in history as Tim Peake was the first British man to visit the international space station. Year 6 watched it being broadcast live on BBC 2 and are looking forward to watching the Soyuz capsule (the rocket which flew Tim and the other astronauts to space) joining up with the International Space Station tonight.
