Class 5 LOVED the visit from the fire brigade and demonstrated great knowledge of fire fighters jobs and fire safety. They asked some interesting and thought provoking questions.
We learnt that:
-Firefighters wear special uniforms and jump into their clothes (shoes attached to trousers)
-They have to be brave to be a firefighter
-If you are on fire you should stop, drop and roll.
-If you call 999 you can ask for different emergency services, including the fire brigade.
-
We also tried our best learning our home address and telephone number.
