Club session.This week we had a cackle at a Maths joke:
And we focused on a Maths challenge, inspired by Dr. Eugenia Cheng - mathematician, pianist and best-selling author of books such as “How to bake Pi” (which teaches you mathematical principles through baking desserts!)
We were challenged to prove Pythagoras' Theorem (c² = a² + b²) by using Starburst sweets!
We managed to prove it, thinking carefully about how to approach the problem systematically and by collaborating effectively, listening to each others' ideas.
