During British Science Week, the children at Ladygrove Park completed a whole school experiment to answer the question: do bigger hands hold more? The experiment was progressive with some year groups drawing their results. some representing in graphs and year 6 calculating averages.
The children had to determine how to measure how big hands are (hand span or hand width?) and how to ensure that this was a fair test so that their results were valid.
