Last term, Year 5 worked hard exploring a range of techniques used by Henri Rousseau, such as his use of colour and layering, as well as developing other skills such as collaging and outlining. Today we put all our knowledge together to create our own work inspired by Rousseau's 'jungle paintings' (which were created around 150 years ago, despite never actually going to a tropical rainforest!).
