On target

At Ladygrove Park, we aim to meet our targets in every part of school life!

We have been delighted at the performance of the children in recent years in their tests at the end of year 6 and we have set tough targets for this year's children too.

Our current assembly theme is "Going for Goals" which is about setting targets for your own development. Today's assembly was about being a better friend.

Teachers have set themselves the target this year of introducing a more creative approach to teaching and learning. It has entailed a lot of hard work, but the enthusiasm and enjoyment of the children has made it worthwhile. As an example of this, foundation stage children were visited today by a pair of archers (as part of their knights and castles topic). Standing well back, the children watched the archer hit the target every time!
