Today, a group of 16 children from years 3, 4, 5 and 6 went with Mrs Manthorpe and Mr Sutton to Northbourne School to compete in the Didcot Athletics Competition. Organised by Stephen Freeman School, the children had to work as a team and score as many points as possible in a range of events including jumping, relay, obstacle race and throwing activities.
Although the weather wasn't ideal, Jordan, Dan, Mirren, Dan, Megan, Chris, Sara, Matthew, Rory, Molly, Georgia, Ben, Gemman, Seth, Josh and Mollie battled it out with the other 12 schools and came away with 709 points and the 3rd place position! They were also commended on being very polite as a school and acted as fantastic representatives for Ladygrove Park. Well done to them all!
