Having moved the fencing and concrete blocks off the court(!), we started what we expected to be a close game. However the goal-scoring brilliance of Katie and Seth was no match for Stephen Freeman, although they did manage to get two goals past us in the first quarter. Goals from almost the whole team meant that we went home with a winning score of 12-5.

The match was close, with Stephen Freeman having the ball a good deal of the time. Good marking and jumping from Becky, Holly, and Dan B meant that we had some good chances at goal. Matthew, Gemma, Dan all scored goals. The final quarter was neck and neck in terms of play – however the final score was 9-4 to Ladygrove.
