Fun and Games!

Sports Week continued yesterday afternoon and this morning with the FS and KS1 and KS2 Sports Days.  The weather was lovely and bright, but thankfully cool, so the children had lots of fun but didn't overheat!  All the children put in lots of effort, had a go at everything and cheered each other on.  The sheer speed and concentration from some of the children was very impressive!  Lots of parents turned up to support so thank you. 

There have also been Tai Kwon Do workshops throughout the day where the children practised disciplined, swift empowering moves.

Sports Week continues tomorrow morning with the Competitive Sports Day for children in Years 3 to 6 who voluntarily wanted to take part.  The event is being run by Abingdon Sports College students who are kindly giving their time to do this.  Parents are welcome to come and support.  The Year 3 and 4 event will be from 9.30 to 10.30 and the Year 5 and 6 event will be from 11.15 to 12.15, both on the school field.
