On Thursday, a group of 30 children from years 5 & 6 spent the day at St Birinus at the annual International Sports Day. During the morning they completed activities based on three countries: Spain, Argentina and India - this included a rather impressive Bollywood Dance!
In the afternoon they split into different teams and competed in Tag Rugby, Cricket, Athletics or Football. All teams performed really well and by the end of the day we were overall winners in Athletics and Tag Rugby. The children were a real credit to the school and only missed out of being overall winners by one point!! Well done to everyone and thank you to those parents who came and cheered us on.
