Scooter Ballet

Key stage 2 children from our school (among other schools) have been invited by the Cornerstone Centre to take part in a Scooter Ballet project lead by Slot Machine Dance Theatre Company.  Those that expressed an interest were able to participate in a special assembly this morning during which Fiona and Nick from the dance company demonstrated their dance/theatre show to the children.  The children also all got to have a go at practising some dance moves to warm up and then choreographing some dance moves on their scooters.  It was a very unusual, exciting session!  Children who are still interested in the project will be selected (for the limited spaces) and rehearse on Sundays throughout May and June with a performance mid-June outside the Cornerstone.  Watch this space!
