Basketball - the first match

Mrs Dearman's Basketball Club held their first match after school on Friday against Hagbourne School. This account of the match is from our roving touchline reporter (who also provided the photos!):
In the first half of the second game we took a bit of hammering (due largely to one of their players being quite exceptional) but after a great half time team talk from the coach they did incredibly well in the second half of that game, and overall we won 32-24 (2 wins, 1 draw, 1 loss) so a great result against a year 4 team.  I think every one of the players should be proud.  I also think one of the dads needs to take a blood pressure tablet!!!!
Well done everyone and thanks to the spectators for their support and to Mrs Dearman for her coaching skills and enthusiasm!
