Amazing Egyptians

The year 4's have had a fantastic term learning all about Ancient Egypt. This week they visited Pitt Rivers museum in Oxford to see some Egyptian artefacts. This included a real mummy!
The grand finale to our topic was seeing the amazing projects that they have done at home. These included a huge Sarcophagus (coffin) lots of mummies, tombs, information booklets, reports on the Gods or Pharoahs, and of course several pyramids made from: lego; wood; card; sugar cubes and even individual cakes!

The year 3's and Mr Burrows enjoyed visiting our class museums.
