Still feeling high from their Manor Tournament win on Saturday, the high 5 team met with Fir Tree. Jack S scored four magnificent, confident goals in the first quarter. In the next quarter, Jack O scored one, and Fir Tree remained on a blank score sheet. Sam and Emily scored two-a-piece in the third quarter. Fir Tree remained very much in the game, fighting all the way and managing to find space occasionally despite excellent defence, especially Hannah, from Ladygrove – this led to a well-earned goal in the final quarter. Within 30 seconds of the whistle following their goal, Jack S had put one through the net for us, and ended up with a hat-trick in the final quarter. The score 12 – 1 to us.
