Head in China #3

Spent an interesting day with an English teacher from a very large primary school in Changsha.



He told me about the curriculum and the teaching methods in China. He explained that the three most important subjects in Chinese primary schools are Mandarin Chinese, maths and learning English. The children have tests to get to Middle School. So it's not just English children who have SATs!
