I spent Sunday going for a stroll in the park on Orange Island (in the middle of the Xiangjiang River) and then shopping. Very friendly young Chinese people who on three occasions stopped to try out their English and in one case, have their photo taken!

That makes it a very interesting city to walk around in. But everywhere, people were friendly!
