As part of Book week, yesterday the children recieved a visit from children's author Jeremy Strong (or should I say 'Jermy' Strong or 'Jermany' Strong)!! Jeremy has written over 70 children's books including 'My Brother's Famous Bottom', 'The 100-mile an-hour dog' and 'Cartoon Kid'. Jeremy read an extract from 'Cartoon kid' which had both children and adults 'laughing their socks off''! Jeremy also gave the children an insight of what it is like to be an author and shared with them the process he goes through in order to write a story. The children had a great day and some were lucky enough to get their copies of his books signed! William Sharp won a signed copy of 'Cartoon Kid' for asking the most interesting question 'What is your favourite insect?' The answer to this was a Butterfly and a Prey Mantis!
