The Story of The Big Box

The Story of The Big Box came to an end this morning when children from The School Council planted the three oak trees at the bottom of the field with Mr Phil Hayward, Didcot Mayor.
It all started last Monday when a box appeared in the courtyard;

During the week, the children were encouraged to talk about the box; where it came from, what was in it.
Then on Friday it was The Big Write when we asked children to write a story based on The Big Box:

At Friday's assembly, the box was opened to revel three oak trees, a gift to the children to celebrate the Queen's Diamond Jubilee.
So this morning, the trees were planted and the story ended!
