High 5 against Long Wittenham

 The team, led by captain Kate, fell to a 1 - 0 deficit in the opening minutes of the game. Benji soon pulled back an equaliser, swiftly followed by Kate's goal. Benji then quickly scored another. The team found it difficult to find space on the very small Long Wittenham pitch and somewhat lost momentum in the second quarter. There was a lot of passing from  one end of the court to the other, however no goals were scored. In the third quarter, Tom scored a goal, and then Lucy C, “I can't shoot”, scored not one, but three goals. In the final quarter Katherine pulled three superb goals out of the bag, and Benji found the hoop again with another shot. The final score was Ladygrove 11 – Long Wittenham 1. Thanks again to parents for helping with transport and supporting us – and on this occasion providing a functional timer!
