International Winners!

On Tuesday, some of our year 6 children went to St Birinus to take part in International Sports Day. They spent the morning learning about three of the countries competing in the Olympics: Great Britain, Brazil and Greece. Then after lunch they all took part in some competitive sports against 5 other schools. Our cricketers, Tag Rugby Squad and Footballers all did really well however the athletes managed to win the gold medal !

In addition we got silver medals for Fair Play and Languages and ended up as the OVERALL WINNING SCHOOL !! The children were a real credit to our school.
