The School Games

Triumphantly Ladygrove park primary school got through to the School games by winning the Garrick league and the Wallingford tournament.

The brilliant team was Lucy , Kate , Lucy , Katherine , Georgia , Jon , Tom and Benji. 

Before we started we had a Olympic ceremony with football skills, dances, drums and speeches then we went off to our sport. These are the games.

Faringdon 1^st half Katherine scored  2^nd half  Lucy C scored 2-0 to us.

Bloxham 1st half Jon scored 3  2^nd half no one scored so it was 3-0.

Eynsham 1^st half Katherine scored 2^nd half Eyshan scored 2 so it was 2-1 to them!

Larhrue 1^st half no one scored 2^nd half Benji scored 1 and Lucy g scored 3.

We came 2^nd in our group so we played the team who came 2^nd in the other group which were John Blandy.

1^st half no one scored but in the 2^nd half Lucy G scored 3 and Benji scored 1 and the other team scored 2 so the score was 5-2 to us.

Because we won we came third in the whole of Oxfordshire so we’re really proud of ourselves and we also met Roger Bannister, the person who ran a mile in less than 4 mins.
