The new children to class 1 have been settling in this week and seem to be enjoying themselves already. The older children are being helpful and supportive, showing them the ropes! This term we are choosing a traditional tale each week to base some activities around and also looking generally at toys as a topic. This week it was Goldilocks and children had chance to play in the three bears' house in the homecorner, watch the adults act out the story at Jamboree time, talk about characters, draw maps of Goldilocks' journey to the bears' house and make some props from the story.
